"Aves" is the Latin for Bird and is the Class of Vertebrates that we specialize in.
Acden Aves is committed to using best-in-class technology to protect wildlife from many industries. From Mining to Wind Farms, we combine technology with Biological Data to enact best possible outcomes for our clients. Protecting birds and wildlife from deleterious waterbodies is just one of the many ways to seek to preserve our Environment.
PROJECTS
Our projects range from preserving wildlife in Oil & Gas, to helping clients get approval for a new Wind Farm through continuous monitoring of the project site. Our skilled technicians perform many different sampling functions, including on Tailings Ponds, all with the focus of Regulatory Compliance and best work practices.
CLIENTS
Our clients include 3 of the 6 major open-pit mining sites in the Athabasca Oil Sands region, as well as fertilizer plants and wind farms in southern Alberta and in Prince Edward Island. We are committed to providing continuous improvement for our clients and improving our offering.

Acden Aves is a First Nations owned company and is a partner of Acden Inc. We are locally based in Fort McMurray, Alberta and our Senior Leadership team is located in Alberta as well. We are a partner of the Northern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association (NAABA) and are certified to work on any Oil Sands Mining operation.
